Meet Our Team
Nat Cousins
Sally's husband since July 6, 1991 and the person she trusts most in her barn.
Talent in the saddle only goes so far. What sets a program apart happens before anyone mounts up — and in Sally's barn, that's Nat.
Nat pays attention. He notices, without being told, that the big gray warmblood tightens through his back when the weather shifts, and that the young mare needs ten minutes of hand-grazing before she's mentally ready to work. He figured these things out by showing up every day and caring enough to watch.
The result, her horses aren't just maintained — they're understood. The nervous ones get patience. The dominant ones get boundaries. The sensitive ones get a quiet hand and consistent routine. Horses come to the ring relaxed, confident, and ready — mentally as much as physically.
